                         Torque arm

The torque arm system has an important function in machining quality of angle heads. For this reason OMG technicians studied and defined a new torque arm system with the following characteristics
  • conical pin
  • axial pin adjustment
  • coolant through the head
    The conical pin and the axial adjustment of 1.5 mm permit a better rigidity of the torque arm system then the traditional one that had pins of dia 18 mm. Improved axial and angular rigidity means clearance have been removed. External hoses have been eliminated by the coolant through the head, with adjustable nozzle outlet.

                                                                           In your application, when possible, positioning the conical pin on the opposite side of the angle heads spindle.
