The new OMG TA series of angle heads have been manufactured in order to perform those machine operations that horizontal or vertical machines cannot solve except with further placements of the piece. The angle heads offer a time and costs reduction in the mechanical machining.
OMG presents a complete new and wide range of angle Heads as follows:

TA 90° single-spindle
TA... 2 two opposite spindles
TA... PD single-spindle with internal coolant through the tool

TAO series   offset single spindle particularly for milling operation

TAO ... D series   with high pressure coolant through the spindle centre
TAV the angular position of the spindle is adjustable from +90° to -90°
TAF the angular position of the fix spindle is made according to customer requests
Special angle heads manufactured according to customer requests

OMG angle heads can be assembled on traditional machine tools, on machining centres with automatic tool change, on lathes with motorised turret. The thermic treatment cinematic motion, the use of precision bearings and Gleason gears, give all OMG heads a very good rigidity and precision in the overhang.
The new torque arm system increases the rigidity and precision; when extreme performances are requested, we suggest using the Triblock system.
The angle head series TA were studied and defined by computerised systems deleloped by OMG using their 40 years experience in the sector. This means innovative selections in the materials, in thermic treatments and in the machining to obtain precision, rigidity and reliability can be ensured.
